On this week’s Pickin, we’ll hear selections from the Big Country Bluegrass CD Mountains, Mamas, and Memories. This Galax, VA band has been touring and recording together for over 30 years. They perform at festivals and venues all around the region, including the Carter Fold, Floyd Fest, and Mountain Music Jambore. They have released numerous CDs on the Hay Holler and Rebel record labels and are heralded as one of the fine bluegrass bands from the infamous Crooked Road Musical Trail of Virginia.
