This week, Mal Vincent recalls the time he donned grease paint, clown shoes, and a rubber nose to play a professional clown with Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus. As the famous circus ends its 146-year run and its visits to Hampton Roads, Mal shares a special story of how he once became a part of it. He was soon to find out that making people laugh wasn't as simple as dressing up or cramming into a clown car!
