On this week's Acoustic Highway, we’ll hear selections from the new CD On the Road: A Tribute to John Hartford. The CD is being released on June 26 with performances by Sam Bush, Yonder Mountain String Band, the Infamous StringDusters, Todd Snider and plenty of others, all in celebration of a musical genius who was a true troubadour of Americana sound. Also, we will check in with some local musicians who are participating in a regional virtual concert series on Facebook Live. Jim Bulliet, Michael Glass, Narissa Bond, Ron Fetner, Richard Spano, Skip Friel ,Anthony Rosano, Tidewater Bluegrass Music Association, and others are all performing Sunday night.
