New & Noteworthy:

Nature: Spy in the Wild 2

Nature

Not only educational, this is truly a fun series! When Season 1 debuted in 2017, the staff couldn’t stop talking about the animal reactions to the “spy” animals. A little trivia, it takes 2-3 months to create each animal robot and all are fashioned under the advisement of a scientific expert on the particular species that is being created. 2, 125 hours are filmed for each hour long episode ensuring that each program is chock full of the best of moments! This is perfect for the entire family. Watch now >

The Best of the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross

bob ross

While Bob himself is no longer with us, his love for nature and kind, soothing commentary is now more popular than ever! I recently spotted my 16-year-old neighbor sitting on her porch wearing a Bob Ross shirt. Not only is he a pop icon, he has found his way to the next generation. There’s just something about his delivery that has a calming effect and the series has just been added to Passport.

The Great British Baking Show

great british baking show

This is such a delightful show. The bakers are authentic, everyday people from many walks of life having a go at their life’s passion–baking. What’s so different about this reality series, versus reality series created in the U.S., is that the competitors truly care about one another and root each other on. The tears are genuine, the disappointments and joys are all shared through comradery. Most importantly, the recipes are shared on their website, so you too can join the challenge.

Set in Amsterdam, this series is a visual stunner with an all-star cast. Retired detective Julien Baptiste may think his detective days are over, but when an old friend calls him up to help with a missing persons case, Baptiste is thrown back into his old world. The pace is heart-pounding and the plot is full of twists and turns. Please note, this drama contains scenes that are not suitable for all audiences and contains violence and sexual situations.
