1. The Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is a mile deep, and up to 18 miles wide. Layered bands of colorful rock reveal millions of years of geologic history.

2. Yellowstone National Park
Containing half of the world's geothermal features and bursting with wildlife, Yellowstone provides for one-of-a-kind learning experiences.

3. Great Salt Lake
The Great Salt Lake, in Utah, is the largest salt water lake in the Western Hemisphere.

4. Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls State Park stretches over 400 acres, with close to 140 acres of that under water, and it is the oldest state park in the United States.

5. Grand Tetons
The Grand Teton National Park includes over two hundred miles of trails and the Snake River.

Plus, the collection includes Ken Burns’ popular film The National Parks: America's Best Idea. This epic film tells the story of people from every conceivable background—rich and poor, soldiers and scientists, natives and newcomers—who were willing to devote themselves to saving some precious portion of the land they loved.

Lastly, Nature Cat is also exploring America’s national parks. Join him on an interactive nature adventure as he checks off sites in his curiosity journal on this nature road trip.
