Note: Due to an increase in COVID cases, we have decided to cancel our January 29 event at Muscarelle Museum in Williamsburg.
The last year has been a challenging time for our community, but it’s also reaffirmed the importance and magic of live, in-person performances and connections. It’s been over a year and a half since we’ve had the pleasure of hosting an in-person WHRO Classical Open Mic; we are elated to announce that we are bringing these events back across Hampton Roads over the next year!
- CANCELED - Saturday, January 29, 2 p.m.: Muscarelle Museum, Williamsburg
- Friday, March 4, 2022 at 6 p.m.: Lemon Tree Gallery, Cape Charles
Join us for these fun, casual events hosted by WHRO FM’s Wayla Chambo, celebrating the vibrancy of our local classical music community.
COVID Guidelines: For the January event, masks will be required. However, performers will be allowed to remove their masks for their performance, if desired.
WHRO Classical Open Mics are free and open to all due to the support of our members. We can’t wait to see you!
