Last week, WHRO Education told you about several great learning apps that can keep your children entertained during their winter break. This week, we share a few more.

PBS Kids Video allows children to enjoy videos from your favorite PBS KIDS shows, like Curious George, The Cat in the Hat, and more all in a safe, child-friendly environment! Kids can watch videos at home, on the road, or anywhere with a WiFi connection.

Children can make their own stories with Martha and her friends in Martha Speaks Story Maker. Once they have created their adventure, they can play with the characters in their storybook while Martha reads. Stories are saved in your child's own private library to re-read later, and they can test out all the new vocabulary words from their stories.

In the first app from PBS that is designed specifically for parents, PBS Parents Play & Learn allows you to play dozens of games with your kids, keeping them entertained and learning on-the-go.

WHRO Education wishes you an "Appy" Holiday -- what better time to help your children see how much fun learning can be!
