Four decades ago, Queen recorded their sixth album, News of the World, which spawned hits such as "We Will Rock You," "We Are the Champions," "Sheer Heart Attack" and "Spread Your Wings. After releasing their 1977 album, the legendary British powerhouse set course for their biggest headling U.S tour with one aim: to break America. Music journalist Bob Harris and a film crew followed their journey as part of a proposed documentary that has remained incomplete and unreleased — until now. Forty years following the album's release and its epic tour, this lost documentary has been unearthed for the first time, revealing fresh insight into a band that defied the odds and took America by storm. Queen Rock the World premieres on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, 8 p.m. on PBS.
