We have several new programs that have just joined WHRO Passport. If you're like me, you've heard a lot about solar energy and its benefits, so you may be interested in the history of solar power and the scientist who first harnessed the sun's power. American Experience: The Sun Queen tells the story of Maria Telkes and her design of the first successful solar-heated house in 1948.

We also step back in time to follow four international stars as they learn about their grandparents' wartime experience and the impact of global conflict on their families.
