Public media has always been a champion of the arts, and WHRO is thrilled to continue highlighting our own thriving arts scene in Hampton Roads through our multimedia endeavor Curate. The online video and broadcast series covers art in our community in a new way. We showcase the artists and projects that use media and the arts to better the community through beautification and arts appreciation.

Each week, the program features a Hampton Roads artist, along with artists from across the country, who work in a variety of mediums from painting to sculpture and photography to the spoken word. Each episode is arranged around a central theme and offers a compelling look at artists and their creations.
