Whether you loved her as Elaine Benes on the comedy hit show Seinfeld, or adored her antics on the political satire Veep, the award-winning actress and comedian will be honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. In a Comedy Central-esque roasting event, Louis-Dreyfus will be honored with nothing less of friendly comedic jabs by her fellow comedians like Jerry Seinfeld himself, Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, Kumail Nanjiani, Keegan-Michael Key, and more.

Becoming the sixth woman to win comedy's top award, Julia Louis-Dreyfus started her career at The Practical Theatre Company in Chicago, got casted for Saturday Night Live, but it wasn't until 1989 when she got her big break as Elaine for Seinfeld's nine season run. She then went to star on her own shows The New Adventures of Old Christine and the critical HBO hit Veep which garnered her many accolades and praises.
