In this one-night, two-part NOVA special, an interpid international team of volcano experts climb up the cone of Nyiragongo, one of the world's least studied volcanoes, and descend into its crater, down towards its bubbling and seething lava lake, perilously close to their gigantic craters, to deploy innovative imaging and remote sensing techniques and discover when it will erupt next.
