The 34th annual Virginia Children's Festival returns to Norfolk this weekend, and WHRO Public Media will be there contributing to the fun.
This exciting family festival is filled with more than 100 fun, creative and interactive activities that include storytelling, hands-on workshops, educational displays, cultural experiences, arts and crafts, military demonstrations, costumed characters and more.
We'll have freebies and activities for the kids along with a performance of GreenBeats Live at 11:30 a.m., storytime with Ms. Martha Reads at 2:10 p.m., and visits from Curious George throughout the day.
