Beabadoobee was a 17 year old wunderkind when she first started recording. On her third album “This Is How Tomorrow Moves” she’s writing about more mature themes and with the help of producer Rick Rubin she has found her groove.
The album that was recorded in a Malibu beach house as opposed to her home in London. The feeling she gets from the change of scenery is palpable.
Her vocals are more assured and confident and allow her to share more of her experiences growing up and, for the first time, taking responsibility for her own actions and gaining a more personal outlook on life.
Beabadoobee, who real name is Beatrice Laus is only 24 years old and says that this album was an opportunity she was unsure about but after doing it finally feels like it's the best decision she has ever made. It’s also the best album she’s ever made…so far.
