Among the highlights, Apollo’s Fire takes center stage once again, presenting the “Mystery Sonatas” by Biber; the Emerson Quartet returns to the program as well with Beethoven’s “String Quartet No. 10”, showcasing the masterful interplay of voices in this chamber music gem.
Listeners will also experience the elegance of Couperin's harpsichord music, offering a glimpse into the Baroque period; and JoAnn Falletta leading a stirring rendition of Lukas Foss’s “Renaissance Concerto”, featuring flutist Amy Porter.
