This week, Pickin' on WHRV celebrates Easter with its annual All Bluegrass Gospel Program. A mix of both traditional and contemporary artists will be featured performing beloved gospel standards. We’ll hear from Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, Larry Sparks, Allison Krauss, Don Rigsby and plenty of others. One of the common themes in Bluegrass is religion and both veteran and new bands will almost always include a gospel number in their repertoire.
