Saturday night October 29, at 10:00 p.m., WHRO Public Media and WHRO.org will present the 47th anniversary special of Doctor Madblood. The film for this year’s program is the 1960 film Little Shop of Horrors from Roger Corman. This cult horror-comedy is about a nerdy young florist's assistant who cultivates a large, carnivorous plant that craves human flesh. Look for a young Jack Nicholson in one of his first roles.
The program will also feature favorite moments from the many years that Madblood has been on the air.
