We’re in the midst of our Fall Membership Drive, a time to reflect on the importance of public media and all it brings to our local arts community.

We’re excited to announce two live on-air performances coming up this week:

• Tuesday, September 10 at 9:15 AM: Broadway performers Jessica Lee Goldyn and Brian Ray Norris will perform a number from the musical Guys and Dolls, which is opening soon at the Virginia Stage Company. They’ll be accompanied by pianist Bart Kuebler.
• Wednesday, September 11 at 11:30 AM: Virginia Opera’s Celeste Godin and Louis Riva will perform music by Puccini and Manuel Ponce. They’ll be accompanied by pianist Shelby Rhoades. Artistic Director Adam Turner will also speak with us about Virginia Opera’s upcoming season.

We hope you can tune in for these special performances; we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring you these previews from two of our wonderful arts organizations in Hampton Roads.
