We have come to one of the highlights of this year’s Virginia Arts Festival. Starting Friday May 2nd, violinist extraordinaire Joshua Bell will join the Virginia Symphony and Joann Falletta for the colorful "Symphony Espagnole” by Edward Lalo. Then the orchestra will perform the monumental Alpine Symphonyby Richard Strauss. But there’s more.
Accompanying the Strauss will be stunning photographs of the Alps, projected in the hall to accompany the music. Call 282-2822 to get tickets to hear music like you’ve never seen it before. Tune into WHRO FM all week as we play Bell's masterful performances, and hear an exclusive interview Saturday at 11am - Only on WHRO 90.3FM!Tweet
