The center's mobile pet pantry made it's first stop today at the city's Jordan-Newby Library.

People came out with their pets to pick up food, toys and whatever else they might have needed.

We're told in memory of a board member, the organization fundraised enough to keep the pantry going each month through the end of the year.

"It's been really hard, especially with the high prices recently of pet food," Bittni Naylor with the center said. "Not everybody is able to feed their pets right now and we want to be able to help the community keep them and not have to make those difficult choices."

The mobile pantry is every second Saturday of each month.

It'll be back at Jordan-Newby Library in May, and they tell News 3 it's open to everyone, no questions asked.

You're also able to visit the pantry at the center's location on Sabre Road seven days a week.
