On this week’s episoe of Acoustic Highway, Drew Lopenzina is my almost in-studio guest as he joins us via our phone hybrid system to talk music and feature tracks from his debut CD Sacred Ground. Drew is an English professor at Highway Producer Barry Graham’s alma mater ODU. Sacred Ground was largely influenced by Drew’s experience protesting at the Standing Rock Reservation. Drew also performs as a part of the duo “Serious Black” with Lizzie Black. You can hear Drew on the Highway, Sunday at 9:00 p.m. on WHRV.
