Scott Hutchison was the leader of Frightened Rabbit, a Scottish band who released six albums before Scott took his own life in 2018. The Indie rock community has come together to lovingly pay tribute to his music by re-creating the 2008 album “The Midnight Organ Fight.”

“Tiny Changes: A Celebration of the Midnight Organ Fight”is a seventeen track album made by some well-known and not-so-well-known artists who voices are different from Scott’s giving them a fresh take on his songs that ache with longing.

The album was originally intended to be a ten year anniversary tribute to Frightened Rabbit’s second album but when Scott died in May of 2018 it was put on hold until now. Thankfully, these artists wanted to show his influence on their own lives and this release will surely cause many to revisit or to discover his music for the first time.

Scott Hutchinson’s work with Frightened Rabbit was often characterized as someone who wears his heart on his sleeve but in a dignified and impassioned way. “Tiny Changes: A Celebration of the Midnight Organ Fight” serves as a bittersweet reminder of what has been lost and what will live on
