On this week’s Pickin' we’ll hear music from Buzz Busby. He was known as the "Father of D.C. Bluegrass" and was a part of the thriving music community there in the 50s and 60s. He worked with some of the greats of the genre including Charlie Waller, Don Stover and Dudley Connell. We’ll also hear a set from Bobby Osborne who rose to fame with his brother Sonny in the 1960s as well as music from The Stanley Brothers, The Seldom Scene, JD Crowe and others.
