On this week’s Acoustic Highway, we gear up for the holidays with the stunningly beautiful release from Mary Chapin Carpenter Come Darkness Come Light. The 2008 album features covers of songs by Tommy Thompson and Robin and Linda Williams. Hailed by critics, it shot into the top 30 on the Country charts. The opening track "Once in Royal David’s City," was originally performed as a part of the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols in Cambridge.
