Local singer/songwriter Narissa Bond is a favorite of the local artistic community. She has appeared on Hunter at Sunrise, Writer’s Block, Out of the Box, and The Acoustic Highway. It’s hard to attend a local arts festival and not see Narissa in performance with her wonderful songs celebrating life. She has released four albums including her most recent Rhythm of Love which was nominated for album of the year in the Veer Magazine Local Music Awards. She is featured in the book I’ve Got Thunder, a collection of stories about Black female recording artists, including Abbey Lincoln, Chaka Kahn, and Joan Armatrading. Narissa Bond is continuing the effort by local musicians to keep the music alive during the weeks of quarantine by hosting a Facebook Live concert today at 6:00 p.m..

Tune in and you’ll see why Narissa Bond is a favorite of WHRV’s listening audience.
