Father’s Day was first celebrated in the in the United States 100 years ago and across the country families will be celebrating their fathers and father-figures this Sunday. Research shows that the presence of a father or father figure in the home can have a positive impact on children’s test scores, obesity rates, teen pregnancy rates and more. We’ll speak with people who are working to shine the light on the importance of fathers in society.
