More than 30 million households in the United States are faced with one or more of these concerns: too much of the family budget is spent on housing, overcrowded conditions, or the home is not equipped with necessities such as hot water, electricity or proper plumbing. This week Habitat for Humanity, which builds housing for needy families, is on a building blitz to transform the lives of several families in Hampton Roads.
