90.3 WHRO RADIO ANCHOR RESIGNS
Lane Dare to Pursue Other Opportunities
Norfolk – WHRO 90.3FM radio announcer Lane Dare has resigned her position with the public radio station to pursue other opportunities within the Hampton Roads community. “Mid-Day Classics with Lane Dare” aired weekdays from 10A-3P on the fine arts station.
Dare enjoyed a sixteen year career with WHRO, holding various positions including producer/announcer, development/marketing coordinator and coordinator of pre-school educational programming for WHRO-TV 15. She was a regular participant in the fundraising activities for radio and television.
A Norfolk native, Dare said she will continue to work in the community and will continue to be an active supporter of WHRO.
Chief Operating Officer Regina Brayboy said, “We appreciate the years of dedicated service that Lane gave to WHRO, and we wish her the very best”.
