WHRO 90.3FM TO AIR VIRGINIA SYMPHONY CONCERTS

Norfolk:  WHRO 90.3FM has announced that it will again bring the glorious music of JoAnn Falletta and the Virginia Symphony Orchestra into Hampton Roads homes all throughout the current season.  The public radio station will air the VSO concerts on the first Wednesday of each month, with two exceptions – “Messiah” will be aired on Wednesday, December 20, 2006; and “The Hollywood Score” will air on Wednesday, February 28, 2007.  Each recorded concert will begin at 9:00p.m. on its respective Wednesday evening, and will feature excerpts of Falletta’s Concert Conversations.

All WHRO 90.3FM VSO broadcasts begin at 9:00pm.  The following broadcasts are scheduled:
