WHRV HD-3 TO OFFER LIVE VIDEO STREAM
OF A LOCAL RADIO PROGRAM
June 7th Webcast is first of its kind offered to Hampton Roads listeners

Norfolk: radioNtenna (WHRV HD-3), one of the digital radio stations of public broadcaster WHRO, will offer the area’s first live video stream of a local radio show on the Internet on June 7th at 11am.

Listeners who tune in to radioNtenna to hear Hunter at Sunrise at its usual time will experience a live, behind-the-scenes look at the show as it broadcasts on whrv.org and hunteratsunrise.com.  The June 7th hour-long webcast will feature an interview with Nashville recording artist Kevin So, who will perform songs from his recent nationally released acoustic CD, “Best Foot Forward.”

“This webcast is the first of its kind attempted by a Hampton Roads radio station, and signals a new era in local media,” says John Heimerl, Program Director of radioNtenna and Chief Enterprise Officer of WHRO, “it combines radio, television and the Internet.”

Hunter at Sunrise, hosted by Hunter Hughes, airs every Sunday on radioNtenna (WHRV HD-3) from 7am to noon, and features an acoustic and eclectic blend of music.  It is also streamed live on whrv.org, hunteratsunrise.com, radiontenna.org, iTunes, radiotime and Shoutcast.
