Moorman was elected to the Board of Directors of the WHRO Foundation in 2002.  He will assume the chairmanship of the Foundation on July 1st.  “Wick’s leadership and creativity have been vital to the WHRO Foundation, and we are delighted to have this opportunity to spotlight his professional achievements to an even larger audience.  We’re grateful to the History Channel for allowing us to air this documentary,” said Joseph Widoff, WHRO President and Chief Executive Officer.

In keeping with the topic of the railroad, the Moorman documentary will be followed on TV 15 by a broadcast of Rising From the Rails, a program that commemorates the significant role the Pullman porters played in the history of American train transportation.
