WHRO, WHRV TO BROADCAST PRESIDENT’S IRAQ STATEGY SPEECH
Bush’s Address to Air 60 Minutes After Governor Kaine’s State of the Commonwealth
Norfolk: WHRV 89.5FM, public radio for Hampton Roads, will air live NPR-anchored coverage of President Bush’s address to the country outlining his new policy on Iraq on Wednesday, January 10th, beginning at 9:00pm, and concluding at 10:00pm. WHRO TV15 will broadcast a special edition of The NewsHour, beginning with the President’s speech, followed by Congressional response (both Republican and Democratic participants), foreign policy analysis and political analysis by program regulars Mark Shields and David Brooks.
Both WHRV and WHRO are already scheduled to air Governor Timothy Kaine’s State of the Commonwealth address on January 10th. Governor Kaine’s speech will begin at 7:00pm.
